Multiple award-winning master planned community encompassing 55 hectares (137 acres) of land with construction of an 18-hole golf course. Construction started in 2012 and has included 490 residential units along with a 32,000-square-foot golf course amenity building. Vector has been the civil consultant for the project since its inception in 2007. This large development was built in 9 phases which involved an integrated design for stormwater management grading, drainage, water system, water features, roadworks, trails and sewer systems. Vector’s designs included the realignment of a drainage canal to increase the length and enhance the health of the habitat along the water course. Numerous water features were designed within the development to attract and benefit the large population of birds in the area. Phases of the project have received LEED Silver and LEED Gold certification from the Canadian Green Building Council.
